Should Agents access to all the messages of channels or should only get what we send ?

While building Niyam AI , we had a discussion on if we should let the agent read all the messages coming into the channel or dm , this would reduce the friction for users to enter what they worked on. But we thought of having a deeper discussion with PH Community on this when we launch.
For now it gets only what you sent to it.
Let me know what PH community and folks think about this.

Why We Built Niyam AI

We built Niyam AI because time tracking is broken.

Most people don't forget to work they forget to log their work. By the end of the day, hours are estimated, tasks are missed, and teams lose visibility into where time actually goes.

We wanted a solution that fits naturally into the way people already work. Since teams spend much of their day in Slack, we built Niyam AI to turn simple conversations into accurate time logs automatically.

The goal is simple: help teams understand where their time goes without adding another tool, form, or timer to their day.

Niyam AI - Build Discipline - Get Direction - Attain Consistency.

Niyam AI is a Slack-based time tracking tool that helps teams build and follow schedules without any friction. People don’t log time accurately. They either forget, batch hours at end of day, or have to switch into a separate tool (timers, spreadsheets, project software). Niyam AI lives inside Slack. You message it like you normally would — describe what you’re working on — and it automatically extracts the task and time spent. No forms, no timers, no context switching.
