Launching Nix - The Mac Uninstaller, on Tuesday 6 October

Hi, I'm Sanniv, the developer of Nix. It's a Mac uninstaller that shows every file an app left behind (caches, preferences, support files, launch agents) before you remove anything, and moves everything to the Trash so it can be restored.

It launches here on Tuesday 6 October. Until then, the current build is free to download and try at ideaxecution.com/nix-mac-uninstaller, and I'd like to hear what you'd want an uninstaller to do that none of them do today. Follow the page and you'll get a notification when it goes live.

Nix - The Mac uninstaller that finds what the Trash leaves behind

Dragging an app to the Trash leaves its caches, preferences, logs, support files and launch agents behind - often gigabytes of them. Nix finds every leftover, shows you exactly how much space you'll get back, and moves it all to the Trash - nothing is ever permanently deleted, and you can restore anything from History. • Free to scan every app and see every size • Leftover Hunt finds orphans from apps you deleted years ago • Login Items in one place • Never sends a file off your Mac
