Ship fast or build slow?

by

On paper, we're ready for our relaunch. We have our new monthly plans locked in, a premium pricing strategy, and a defined target audience. But then, we stop to think if we did the best we could, and we're not sure about it.

In the past, our golden rule for NiceJourney was standard startup advice: Ship as fast as possible, and let people tell you what's broken. So, we treated our first launch like a rough draft.

This time, we're trying a completely different approach: We are taking our time.

We refuse to ship a mediocre product just to say we launched. We want to build something intentional.

That's why my partner @tommi_canu is completely rebuilding the NiceJourney website from scratch in Webflow using the advanced Lumos framework. Our home office has been echoing with Timothy Ricks' YouTube tutorials for weeks!

We made this choice because the foundation needs to be truly fast, accessible, and scalable.

And, we also want a cool website with eye-catching animations, so it takes time.

When building, do you prefer shipping as fast as possible or are you a perfectionist?

P.S. Next week we'll take some time off from everything to clear our minds and, well, simply relax. Our plan is to recharge and relaunch!
