What NFL is, why it's different, and everything that's free
Hi, I'm Waqar, the maker of NFL (Nutrition Fact Label). Since this forum is brand new, here's the honest introduction.
What it is: you enter a recipe (or paste it as plain text and every line gets matched to USDA data automatically), and NFL renders a compliant nutrition label for the market you sell in. Export print-ready PDF, SVG or PNG, or embed the label live on your own website so it updates whenever the recipe does.
Why it's different from other label tools:
Coverage. 152 label formats across 114 countries: US FDA, bilingual Canada, EU 1169/2011, Mexico's NOM-051 warning seals, the GCC, Japan, India, Brazil and more. Most tools stop at the US and Canada border.
Receipts. Every format cites the exact regulation paragraph it follows, so you can defend your label to a retailer, an importer or an inspector.
The boring stuff done right. Each country's rounding rules and claim thresholds are encoded, with live alerts that tell you whether you can legally say "low fat" or "high fiber" and exactly which number qualifies or misses.
