Hi everyone! A lot of friends and family have made it a morning practice to 1) catch up on the news and 2) play Wordle, so I thought I’d combine world news and the gameplay everyone loves into the same thing: Newsflash, a daily news game. With Newsflash, players can test their knowledge of history by guessing the date a newspaper article was published based on the headline and intro. The game is designed to be fun and engaging, with the color of the tiles changing to show how close your guess was to the correct date. At the end of the game, players get to go back in time by reading the full article behind that day’s game (NY Times subscription required). I think Newsflash is a great way for people to learn about history in a fun and interactive way. And just like Wordle and Crosswords, players can easily share their results with friends and family without giving away the answer. I’m thrilled to share the game with the Product Hunt community and can't wait to hear your thoughts. 📰
