π Netfox 0.19.1 β how a TLS port is talking, and each device's OS
Hey everyone π
Just shipped Netfox 0.19.1 π¦
π The certificate card now says how a port is talking, not just who it is. From the same handshake that reads the certificate, it shows the TLS protocol version and cipher a port negotiated β and flags an obsolete version, or a key exchange with no forward secrecy. It's clear about the limit: one server's answer to a single negotiation, never the full set it supports.
π₯οΈ Each device's own OS. A device can now tell you which operating system it runs, shown as a System row, read on demand behind the same privacy switch as the rest β Apple hardware, and only when it answers. The same read also gives Apple devices a steadier model than their advertised name.
π§ And a quiet fix to a latent race in the link panel.
Free, universal, signed and notarized. macOS 15.6+.
