Nautilus - Run a coding agent from your phone, review it on your PC

by•
Prompt a coding agent from your phone and watch it work, with a live preview, while your laptop stays closed. Back at your desk, a desktop app shows the real diff and merges it into your project. Self-hosted on a free cloud runner: no card, no server bill.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Itamar. A phone is a good place to ask for work and a bad place to review it. So Nautilus splits the job between the two. On the phone you pick a project, send a prompt, watch the agent's turn stream in, approve or deny the commands it wants to run, and check a live preview of the result. You can lock the screen and get told when it's done. On the PC, a desktop app shows you a real diff and merges the work into your project. When both sides changed the same file, you choose per file. Your own Git history is never touched. If the preview needs values from your .env, you pick them in the desktop app. They stay in your OS keychain, the dev server gets them, and the agent only ever sees their names. It runs on a free Lightning AI Studio, so there is no card, no domain and no server bill. The free tier restarts the machine every four hours, and a lot of the engineering went into coming back from that without losing work or serving stale files. I built it over five days of the holiday. It's open source under GPL-3.0, and setting up your own runner takes one command from the README. I'd like to hear where the setup trips you up, and what you would hand off to an agent first.
