We rebuilt Naoma. Here’s what changed and why

Six months ago, we launched Naoma on Product Hunt.

You made us #1 Product of the Day and then #1 Product of the Month in Marketing.

Since then, we’ve been watching people use the product, talking to customers, and learning what an AI demo agent actually needs to replace the first part of a sales conversation.

On Monday, we’re launching Naoma V2.

The core idea is still the same: a buyer shouldn’t have to book a call and wait days just to see your product.

But the agent itself is very different.

First, it looks human now.

We added photorealistic avatars that look and sound much closer to someone you’d actually meet on a video call.

Second, Naoma remembers you.

If a prospect comes back tomorrow, the conversation doesn’t restart from zero. The agent remembers the prospect.

Third, every demo can be different.

Naoma enriches the visitor’s company and role before the conversation. A founder, an enterprise sales leader, and a product manager shouldn’t see the same demo, so the agent adapts what it shows, which examples it uses, and what it skips.

Fourth, chat and demo are now one experience.

The new Smart Widget is a chat agent that lives directly on your website. A visitor can start by asking a question in chat - and when they want to see the product, Naoma can launch the full AI demo right inside the same widget.

And probably the biggest change for us:

You don’t need us anymore.

Naoma V2 is self-service. On Starter plan you can build, configure, and launch your own AI demo agent in minutes without an onboarding call with our team.

We’re still working toward the same bigger idea we had when we pivoted:

What if software companies didn’t need a human sales rep for every sales conversation?

A prospect arrives. Naoma understands who they are. Shows them the right parts of the product. Answers their questions. Qualifies them. And moves them to the next step. 24/7.

In March, you helped us get to #1 twice.

On September 14, we’re back.

This time with a much better product.

Would love to hear what you think and as always, especially what you think we got wrong.
