Every name generator I'd ever used spat out the same thing: random word-mashups, mostly broken or already taken. So I built Nameryn around a different bet β that name generation is a quality problem, not a volume one. Instead of gluing words together, it uses a typed-template engine that understands what makes a band, business, or character name actually good. It began as a rough prototype to prove the idea could feel cool rather than broken, grew into a full generative engine across every category, and the north star became simple: be the best in the category, not just another option.

The offline support is a really thoughtful touch that most generators skip over. Love that you can favorite the good ones without needing an account.

@ethem_topr36430Β Thanks!
Yes I plan on keeping it that way. Maybe in the future have an account option if the features justify that addition.
Would love to see an option to combine two generated names into one mashup, sometimes the best ones come from blending unexpected results.
@barangm2rΒ that's a great idea, giving the option to mushup results in the from different generators in the name combiner
Love that it works offline and skips the signup step entirely. Generated a decent band name on the first try and the image prompts were a fun bonus.
@atakansilerΒ Thanks!
Yes, actually the image prompts was the first generator, then started growing from there.
Cool little tool, the band name ideas actually felt usable instead of random gibberish. Love that it works offline with no signup.
@smeyyezgnf1znΒ Thanks!
Yes, I actually used custom band name templates asopposed to just mixing 2 random words.
