nable - One usage meter for every AI provider you pay for
by•
No dashboard. nable answers in your terminal and inside Claude,
Cursor or any MCP client.
It runs locally. Usage is read from session logs on
your machine, no key and no account.
It measures the right thing for your plan. Flat plans get usage,
so you see the 5-hour limit coming before it lands mid-task.
Metered plans get dollars. Token counts are exact; any dollar
figure is a list-price estimate, never your bill.
Ten providers, one meter. Open source and free forever.

finally something that just tells me the number instead of burying it in a graph. love that it lives where im already working, kind of a no-brainer for anyone sick of hopping between cost dashboards.
@felix_whitman agreed! hope you get a chance to try it
finally something that gives you the actual dollar amount instead of another chart to interpret. hooked it up to my AWS bill in claude and it just worked, love that it's read-only.
finally something that skips the dashboard step entirely. plugged it into claude and just asked what my aws bill looked like last month, got the number right away. weird how novel that feels

Really exciting to see nable launch! One usage meter for every AI provider you pay for feels like a thoughtful approach. Congratulations, and best of luck today! 🚀
