I built MyPA because I kept coming back to the same problem. I could have a well-organised task list and still have no clear idea when I was actually going to do everything. Your task list tells you what needs doing. Your calendar tells you where you need to be. The difficult bit is working out how the two fit together. MyPA plans Outlook tasks into the available time in your calendar, working around meetings and other commitments. When the day changes, it can replan rather than leaving you with a schedule that no longer reflects reality. I wanted to keep it Outlook-first rather than create another productivity system. Your tasks, calendar and working day stay where they already are. It is still early, so I would particularly welcome feedback from people who use Outlook heavily or have tried time blocking before.
