MyEscapePlan - Find the best trip before choosing where or when

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built MyEscapePlan because most travel search still starts with the wrong question: Where do you want to go? But often you know the trip you want before you know the destination. You might know you want: - somewhere warm - 4 or 5 nights - flying from near London - around £300 per person - good beaches - maybe something interesting happening while you’re there MyEscapePlan works from that intent instead. It intelligently searches across destinations and date combinations, then weighs flights, accommodation, events, budget and preferences together to find trips that actually fit. Crucially, you can see the destinations and date options that best match your search, rather than having to decide both upfront. That means MyEscapePlan can show you where your money goes furthest and which dates offer the best overall value, helping you find the best bang for your buck across the whole trip. It can also surface places you may never have thought to search and let you track promising escapes over time. A question we get a lot is: how is this different from asking ChatGPT? ChatGPT is great for discussing ideas, researching destinations and helping you plan. MyEscapePlan is purpose-built to actually run the travel discovery process. Instead of simply suggesting that “Lisbon could be nice in October”, MyEscapePlan can explore multiple destinations and date combinations, check real travel options, compare flights and accommodation, factor in events and what’s happening while you’re there, apply your budget and preferences, and show you the combinations that offer the strongest fit and value. So rather than getting a list of destination ideas, you get realistic destination + date options corresponding directly to your search, with the data needed to understand which escape is actually the better deal.
