MyAgent - Direct rental marketplace connecting tenants and landlords

I built MyAgent after personally experiencing how broken and inefficient the rental process is in Nigeria. Finding a home is often slow, expensive, and controlled by agents who add friction instead of solving problems. I wanted to fix that by creating a direct connection between renters and landlords with trust built into the system. What started as a simple idea evolved into a full marketplace approach: focus first on solving supply, not just demand. We realized landlords are the real bottleneck, so we built around acquisition, verification, and trust infrastructure rather than just listings. Today, MyAgent is live with early users, real landlords, completed transactions, and growing traction. We’re now focused on scaling supply and building the default rental infrastructure for Africa.
