Hey Product Hunt! 👋 My Simple Wishlist is the way to organize your shopping wishes across different online stores without coupons codes, ads, registration, and other hustle. All your data stored ONLY in your browser. A story behind this small project: Sometimes when I want to buy some snickers or other stuff, I search around the different stores to find something cool, then I want to save it somewhere and buy it later. Usually, I use the default mac app Notes, but you need to copy-paste the link, price, etc. It can be annoying. I decided to search some browser extensions to do that, but they all force me to create an account, use coupons, sales deals, and other annoying stuff. I just want something simple as an alternative to Notes/Bookmarks, that can work directly in the browser. So, I made this simple extension to save products from stores into wishlists. When you on the product details page, you can just click on the extension icon and save it to the particular list. The extension will try to get the product name, price, and main image. Now it's available for Chrome & Firefox. // Technical details To get the product name, price, and main image extension will look for Product Schema (https://schema.org/Product) on the current page. Almost all stores have it because they want Google can recognize those pages as products :) As a fallback, I use Open Graph metadata, but in this case, the price can be empty. Love this. Works pretty good on Chrome. The only con is that sometimes the price is missing. But I think the product will develop and that will be fixed with time. Thank you @alex_brik, keep up the great work!

It worked great with online stores, products from which I have saved so far. It helped me a lot to organize and manage my shopping wishes. Love the opportunity to create several wish lists, as well as move products from one wish list to another.
