I managed a school for many years, and was also a Project Manager on a Saas project. The school management systems that were available on the market are either (a) highly expensive and require costly programming hours to continually customize it to our needs, (b) or very cheap, outdated, lack functionality, and promise things that it doesn't actually do. I therefore took my experience in managing a Saas project and built my own system. It took 4 years to complete, but I am extremely proud of what we built.
