I’m the founder of makermusic.ai, and I am incredibly excited to be live with all of you today!

As a creator myself, I always struggled with the hours wasted searching through generic stock music libraries, only to face devastating copyright claims later. When generative AI started evolving, I realized we could do something much better. We didn’t just want to build another tool that spits out a flat audio file; we wanted to build a true, hybrid AI production studio for creators.

With makermusic.ai, you can turn simple text prompts or your own lyrics into fully structured songs—complete with emotional vocals, dynamic duets, and authentic instrumentals—completely royalty-free.

Unlike other platforms that treat music like a rigid "black box," we understand that creators need control. That’s why we built features that help you actually produce:

• AI Studio

Support tools: generate ideas/concepts, a production breakdown, a title, or write an advanced manual prompt (in English) that goes at the top of the style sent to the AI engine, for finer control.

• Overlay Recorder

Record from your microphone or upload an audio file (vocals, guitar, any instrument) to overdub on top of the AI-generated track. You can add multiple layers, adjust volume and panning for each, and mix them all together into a single final file.

• Hum your idea

Got a melody in your head but can't play it or describe it in words? In the Project tab, record (or upload) yourself humming or whistling the idea, choose how closely the AI should stick to the original, and generate a full track from it.

• 10-band equalizer

The "🎚 Equalize" button on every track opens a panel with ten faders on standard ISO frequencies (31Hz-16kHz)

• Export to Ableton Live WAVE format 12 stems

After separating the stems, the "Export for Ableton" button downloads a ready-to-open .als project: every track already imported, named and colored, no manual dragging required.

• Technical export

"MIDI" exports the calculated chord progression for the track. "Spec sheet" generates a PDF with all production parameters, ready to share with whoever's mixing.
