I have used it for about a week now. Migrating away from Chrome. Was wondering if React Native JS Debugging can be moved onto Firefox too ?
Pros:
Altassian Suite Loads faste, UI, Speed, CSS GRID, Dev Console
Cons:
Rare Render Bugs

Been using @firefox as my daily driver for a couple of days now and I must say I'm really happy with it. The speed upgrade is definitely noticeable and I'm a big fan of the design. Like many people have mentioned, it's good knowing that not every morsel of my data is being monetised.
If you're interested I made this yesterday talking more in depth about my first impressions of Quantum and the overall user experience.
So I excitedly downloaded and installed this on my MacBook Air and closed Chrome.
I immediately went to TheVerge (One of the most media rich sites I could think of) to test the purported speed increase and the entire browser locked up for 1-2 seconds..."weird' I thought and began to scroll...it locks up again.
I tried several basic sites like OSNews and LXer (Very media light sites) and got the same result. Whats going on?
Pros:
Nice UI layout, better tech
Cons:
Locks up, faster render pipeline useless if UI becomes unresponsive

Better than Chrome, but still not enough for me to switch from Safari! Quantum wakes my MBP's fans because it uses higher CPU usage. Safari does take more memory but it still runs pretty coolly with 20 tabs!

I compared Firefox Quantum with Brave and I got gobsmacked.
Have been with Brave ever since, both on desktop and mobile..

Works as netspace. Keep your chrome on your dock. Do not uninstall.
Pros:
Nope
Cons:
Sucks when page render, not fast, bullshit

FF says on their website : 30% lighter than chrome. Are kiddin us? its not worth it.
The console is a mess, and it lacks many essential features that chrome has.
Pros:
Fast & Simple
Cons:
Console...

Firefox Quantum is sleek, modern, and absolutley the fastest browser I have ever used. I am not one to abandon the products I love, but I ditched Chrome after about 3 minutes of use and have no plans on returning. Worth a download.
Pros:
Firefox quantum is insanely fast. I have never experienced a faster browser.
Cons:
Chrome offers a much more robust extension library, but apparently Foxified solves this.
