What do you record on your Mac, and what slows you down?

Hi, I'm Rahat, the maker of MotionShine, a free Mac screen recorder. We launch here on Monday 19 October.

Before launch day I want to learn from people who record their screen a lot. Two questions:

  • What do you record most: tutorials, product demos, client walkthroughs, bug reports, something else?

  • What takes the longest after you hit stop? Zooming in, cleaning up the cursor, captions, cutting mistakes, exporting the right size?

MotionShine tries to do the slow parts while you record: auto zoom on every click, a smooth cursor, a camera bubble and captions made on your Mac, with a full editor for the rest. I'd like to know what it is still missing for the way you work. I read every reply.
