MotionScore - Building biomechanical algorithms for movement analysis

For years, I've dedicated myself to the mission of simplifying the process for developers creating mobile apps that utilize wearable motion tracking sensors. Despite the potential of such apps, I've noticed that many developers struggle to fully utilize the data from multiple sensors due to a lack of practical experience and the complexity of traditional algorithm development methods. Technical, mathematical, and advanced programming skills are often prerequisites, making the process daunting and time-consuming. As a result, I've seen even the most enthusiastic start-ups struggle to bring their initial ideas to fruition. This is a pity as it hinders the development of innovative apps that can improve health and wellness. To solve this, we present MotionScore. This user-friendly tool for the iPad simplifies the construction, visualization, and understanding of complex movement analysis algorithms by using dataflow programming. With MotionScore, users can leverage their domain knowledge and start creating the algorithms required to build innovative applications that tap into the full potential of motion tracking sensors. It also allows for sharing these algorithms and our hope is that this could be a starting-point of a community in which people can share and learn from each other.
