Hi Product Hunt! I'm Suman, and I make Mopup.
My MacBook got down to 36 GB free and was swapping 13 GB of memory. I assumed it was my projects. It wasn't. It was what development leaves behind:
• 85 GB of build caches
• 52 git worktrees, many made by coding agents, 12 GB of them for branches already merged
• a dev server an agent started and nobody stopped: 42 processes holding 7.6 GB of RAM
And this week its Projects view turned up old projects I'd forgotten I had, with 25 GB to clear.
Coding agents made it worse: they work in parallel worktrees, start dev servers and don't clean up after themselves. So I built Mopup, a native Mac app that finds all of it, tells you what each thing is and what removing it means, and cleans up safely. It never touches your code or anything uncommitted, and it keeps a history of everything it removes.
It's free to scan, and your first 2 GB of cleaning is free. Then $24.99 a year, or $39 once until November 30 ($59 after), for every Mac you own, with no account.
If you try it, I'd love to hear what it found on your Mac, and what it missed.
