MoodaNote v1.5.8 — what 2 months of data taught a solo dev

Hey PH 👋 quick honest update from MoodaNote's maker.

Since launch we hit DAU 4. Tiny, but the data was loud:

📉 73% of new users dropped during onboarding

📉 First-open → first save = 22%

📉 Push open rate = 7.7%

So 1.5.8 is a "fix the leaky bucket" release:

• Reframed the scary "We send your data to Google's Gemini" wall → "Want a little help from AI?"

• Killed an Android boot ANR eating the first 48% of users

• Cut a redundant onboarding sign-in step (decision paralysis)

• Polished 9-locale ASO across both stores

• Added campaign-level push analytics

The brand idea hasn't changed — your daily fragments → a quiet, year-long memoir. The plumbing got nicer.
