E-commerce Q4: How do you detect risks in payment, ads, and revenue drop early?
We’re building Monitrees, a monitoring tool that focuses not only on servers, but also on business platforms where revenue actually happens.
Right now, we monitor:
✅ Ad platforms (Meta / Google Ads): account restrictions, ad disapproval, campaign shutdowns
✅ Payment platforms (PayPal / Stripe): account issues, disputes/chargebacks, balance or payout problems
✅ E-commerce platforms (Shopify / etc.): product delisting, inventory errors, store status anomalies
But we want to go deeper — and that’s where your experience matters.
💬 Questions for you:
• Which failures hurt your revenue the most: ads being paused, payments disputed, or products going offline?
• Have you ever noticed an issue too late — only after sales dropped or customers complained?
• For ads: is your biggest pain budget burn, ROAS drop, banned account, or something else?
• For payments: disputes (chargebacks), account freeze, delay in payouts, fraud — which matters most?
• For e-commerce: inventory sync issues, product out-of-stock, hidden delisting, API errors… what’s your nightmare scenario?
📌 Why I’m asking:
We want Monitrees to help founders and operators detect business-critical anomalies early — not just CPU spikes. Before money is lost. Before ads stop running. Before products disappear from the store.
Would love your thoughts, experiences, or even horror stories — it’ll help us build the right thing. 🙏
