Monitr:Brand Monitoring SaaS Platform - Brand monitoring for the app era — 16 sources, AI-cassified

by
Most brand monitoring tools were built before apps existed — they miss the App Store and Google Play entirely. Monitr watches 16 sources: App Store, Play Store, Reddit, Hacker News, Twitter, LinkedIn, G2, Trustpilot and more. Every mention is AI-classified as a bug, feature request, PR crisis, competitor mention, or noise — then routed to Slack, Linear, or Jira automatically. Brand24 covers ~6 sources. AppFollow covers 2. Monitr covers 16. Free for one app.

Hi PH 👋 I'm John, founder of MRVL Technologies. I built Monitr because I was managing 33 apps and kept finding out about App Store review problems from Twitter — days after they started in the App Store. We'd get a DM from a user saying "your app is broken" and when I looked, there were 40 one-star reviews about the same bug going back 11 days. Brand24 didn't catch it. Mention didn't catch it. They were both happily monitoring our Twitter mentions while our App Store rating was silently collapsing. So I built the tool I needed. What Monitr does differently: - Treats App Store and Google Play as first-class sources — not afterthoughts - AI classifies every signal as bug report, feature request, PR crisis, competitor mention, or noise (not just sentiment) - Routes to your actual workflow — bug reports go to Linear, crises go to Slack, features go to your roadmap tool - 16 sources total, one feed Brand24 covers ~6. AppFollow covers 2. Monitr covers 16. Honest caveats: - We're early some routing integrations are still being refined - The UI is functional but not beautiful yet (working on it) - Mobile app doesn't exist yet (web only) For PH specifically: anyone who signs up today gets 3 months of the Indie plan free — just email me at john.hammond@mrvltechnologies.com with "PH" in the subject and I'll upgrade you manually. One question for the community: what's the most expensive brand crisis you've had that you found out about too late? Would love to hear the war stories — it'll help us build the right alerting features. Thanks for hunting us 🙏
