Hey PH, I'm Ofoe, the builder behind MockAfrica. I was building a fintech demo and the test data had European phone numbers, a London postcode, and a name no Nigerian user would recognise. It looked wrong immediately. I went looking for a tool that solved this and didn't find one, so I built it. The API has been live for a while and developers from the US, Hong Kong, and Europe have been using it without any promotion. That organic usage was the signal to make the launch official. No account needed to try it. Just hit the endpoint and get data. If you want more headroom, the Builder plan is just your email, nothing else, and gets you 1,000 requests/day. Also shipped an avatar endpoint for African-style silhouette placeholder images. It's early and imperfect, and I genuinely want to know what looks wrong or what's missing.
