Looking for early feedback on MIXDM Utility — a free Windows download manager

by

Hi everyone,

I recently launched the first public version of MIXDM Utility, a free download manager for Windows.

I originally built it for my own daily use because I wanted a cleaner way to download files, images, video, and audio without jumping between multiple websites or tools.

Some current features include:

  • Direct file downloads

  • Queue management

  • Pause and resume

  • Chrome Extension support

  • Image downloads as Original, JPG, PNG, or WebP

  • Video/audio downloads from supported links

  • Safety warnings before downloading risky files

  • Manual update checking inside the app

MIXDM is still in an early public release, so I’m mainly looking for feedback from real users.

I’d really appreciate feedback on:

  • Installation experience

  • UI/UX

  • Download stability

  • Chrome Extension setup

  • Bugs or crashes

  • Features that feel useful or unnecessary

The app is free to use, has no ads, and does not include bundled installers.

Please use it responsibly and only download content that you have the right to access.

Thanks for checking it out.
