The swipe mechanic on Sunday actually makes planning feel doable instead of a chore, and my grocery list came together without me thinking about it. Wish the recipes skewed a bit more weeknight-friendly, but overall a solid take on the space.
@nazlkam4c9a terrific feedback! What would make the recipes more weeknight-friendly? Shorter? Fewer ingredients?
The recipe function of our app is critical, so ensuring we have both the options and the filters present for our users to truly enjoy the full use of the app is a huge priority for us.
Glad you're liking the mechanics! We wanted to prioritize ease of use, and the swipe method seemed to do the trick!
Update from the Mise team: Recipe Import just shipped on both iPhone and Android.
You can now bring a recipe in from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, a recipe website, a screenshot, or pasted text, and Mise turns it into an editable recipe! Just review, fix anything, then it drops straight into your week, your grocery list, and Cook Mode.
It imports one recipe at a time, on purpose. We wanted every import to get a real look before it lands in your collection, not a bulk dump you have to clean up later.
Would love to hear from anyone here who tries it on the oldest screenshot in their camera roll.
The swipe setup on Sunday actually felt kind of fun, and I was surprised how accurate the grocery list was when I went shopping. Wish the recipe photos loaded a bit faster though.
@nazlcan134250Â Thanks for the feedback! We will work on the photos loading - are you on android or ios?
Where are the recipes from?
@jane_2Â we've worked to generate these recipes by a combination of publicly available information, some user additions, and pulling from other repositories that we've been able to source.
We're also adding new recipes every day when our users or we find them!
