Where would you use voice typing on your Mac?

Hi, I'm the maker of MioType: press Fn, talk, press Fn again, and the text appears at your cursor in any Mac app, including your terminal.

We launch here on Sunday. Before that, two questions for people who type a lot:

1. Where would you use voice typing most? Prompts for AI tools, email, chat, notes?

2. If you tried dictation before and gave up, what was the reason? Accuracy, technical words, privacy?

What MioType does today: it can run fully offline with a local Whisper model, it remembers a word after you correct it once, and Fn+Left Shift lets you speak one language and type another.
