I'm not a developer by background. I've spent over 20 years working in digital, from technical support to product management. When AI coding tools came along they opened the door for me to start building the software I'd always wished existed. Mindful Reader exists because every RSS reader I used eventually became another source of stress. Hundreds of unreads, constant catching up, guilt about falling behind. I wanted a reader that helps you read less but better. Instead of showing everything, it gives you 3 articles at a time, drawn from across your subscriptions. After reading, you rate each article's impact. Over time you see which feeds are actually worth your attention, and the app gently suggests reconsidering the ones that aren't. Would love to hear from other RSS users, especially anyone who's felt overwhelmed by their feeds.
