Mind Atlas - Map how your mind works: imagery, memory, inner voice

by•
Some people see vivid pictures when they close their eyes, others see nothing. Mind Atlas turns five short self-tests (visual imagery, the other senses, autobiographical memory, inner voice and a perception experiment) into a living map of your mind. After three you meet your archetype, after five your atlas is complete, with a Full Mind Report that is free during our pilot. No sign-up, and your answers never leave your browser. In 5 languages.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 A while ago I found out that when most people "count sheep", they actually see sheep. I don't. My mind's eye is blank; that's called aphantasia. The more I read about it, the clearer it got that pictures are only one piece: some people have vivid imagery but no inner voice, some relive their past like a film, others know their childhood only as facts. Everyone's inner world is built differently, and most of us never compare notes. So I built Mind Atlas. Five short self-tests (visual imagery, the other senses, autobiographical memory, inner voice, and a perception experiment where your imagination can tip what your eyes see). Each one clears a region of your personal atlas. After three you meet your archetype, after five your map is complete. A few things I cared about: • Private by design: no account, and your answers never reach our server. Your result lives in a code in your own URL. • Honest: the questions are our own wording, informed by research methods like the VVIQ. It's a self-portrait, not a diagnosis. • Free Full Mind Report during launch: a long, personal report with your atlas, a chapter per dimension, how they interact, and a printable night edition. English, German, French, Spanish and Polish. I'd love to hear which archetype you got, and which result surprised you.
