MIDI Lab AI - Now with an AI editor agent, voice input, and MIDI import

by•
MIDI Lab turns text prompts into studio-quality MIDI, and now our AI editor agent works right inside your composer, so you can talk through an idea instead of building it click by click. Since our first launch we've added voice input on every composer, a + menu for importing your own MIDI files and reference tracks, and Infinite, our layer-evolving jam mode. Everything still streams live to hardware synths, Eurorack, and DAWs over Web MIDI, with premium MIDI packs when you want a head start.

Hey everyone — we're back with a real update to MIDI Lab since our first launch. The biggest one: our AI editor agent now lives right inside the composer, so instead of clicking through menus you can just tell it what you want and keep working. We also added voice input across every composer (mic to text, no keyboard needed), a proper + menu for importing your own MIDI files and reference tracks into a session, and Infinite — a layer-evolving jam mode that keeps generating new variations while you play along. Still the same core idea: type a prompt, get real, structured MIDI you can export or stream straight to hardware synths, Eurorack, and DAWs over Web MIDI. This update is about making it feel less like a tool and more like a collaborator. Would love to hear what you think, especially if you're running real hardware alongside it.
