Meydo C1: A Little Square, A Big Companion

by

We have spent years making phones bigger, faster, and more capable.

Along the way, the smartphone became a place we enter. We unlock it, search for an app, move through menus, respond to notifications, and often forget what we originally wanted to do. AI has arrived on these devices, but it is still frequently hidden inside another app, waiting behind another icon.

Meydo begins with a different question:

What if AI were not another feature you had to find, but a companion that was already close?

That idea became Meydo C1, a pocket AI phone for a generation that wants technology to feel more natural, personal, creative, and alive.

Meet the Little Square AI Phone

Meydo C1, also known as Companion 1, is designed as a compact, nearly square AI phone that can fit comfortably in your hand, slip into a pocket, hang from a lanyard, or stay beside you on a desk.

It is not simply a conventional smartphone made smaller.

Its form is built around a different kind of interaction. Instead of beginning with a grid of apps, Meydo begins with the person in front of it. You can speak naturally, press the physical AI button, point the rotating camera at something you want to understand, or use the screen when a result needs to be reviewed and confirmed.

The current product direction includes independent cellular connectivity, an Android-based system, voice interaction, visual understanding, an AI character, and a family of accessories that let the same device move between different parts of life.

Wear it while exploring a new city. Place it on your desk while studying or creating. Bring it into the car as a voice-first assistant. Add a game case for a more playful experience or a physical keyboard case when words need more room to flow.

The device changes its role, but the companion stays the same.

A Phone, an AI Terminal, and a Companion

Meydo is designed around three connected identities.

It Is a Phone

Meydo is intended to work independently, with cellular connectivity, calling, location, NFC, and access to essential Android capabilities. It is not meant to be another Bluetooth accessory that becomes useless when your main phone is out of reach.

That independence matters. An AI companion should be able to travel with you, help you find your way, keep important information close, and remain useful without being permanently tethered to another device.

It Is an AI Terminal

Voice, camera, screen, and a dedicated AI button make AI easier to reach in the moment.

You should not need to stop, unlock a large phone, find an app, and construct the perfect prompt every time a thought appears or something in the world catches your attention. Meydo is designed to reduce that distance between intention and action.

Its planned DroiClaw AI Agent system brings conversation, visual understanding, memory, skills, models, and supported app actions into one connected experience. The goal is not only to answer a question, but to understand the situation and help move the task forward.

It Is an AI Companion

An assistant can be useful for a moment. A companion becomes familiar over time.

Meydo is envisioned with a consistent AI identity, including a character, voice, tone, and interaction style that users can personalize. With permission, it can remember useful preferences, important plans, and ongoing goals. It can be lively when you want to explore, concise when you are busy, and quiet when you need to focus.

This is not about replacing friends, family, or real human relationships. It is about creating a more personal form of technology: one that knows when to help, when to wait, and when to leave the decision to you.

See, Understand, Remember, Act, Accompany

Five ideas define the experience we want Meydo to create.

See. The rotating camera gives the AI a window into the world in front of you. Point to a menu, sign, poster, object, or moment and begin with a simple question.

Understand. Natural conversation should feel like conversation, not command-line input. Meydo is designed to follow context, understand what you mean, and let you interrupt, correct, or change direction.

Remember. With the user's knowledge and permission, an AI companion can carry useful context across days instead of making every interaction begin from zero. Just as importantly, that memory should always remain visible, editable, and removable.

Act. DroiClaw is designed to connect an intention with the appropriate skill, model, system tool, or supported app. The ambition is to help create, organize, search, remind, and complete everyday tasks, while asking for confirmation before sensitive actions.

Accompany. Meydo is meant to remain present across the small transitions that make up a day: from pocket to desk, from study to travel, from a burst of inspiration to a quiet evening. Not always speaking. Not always demanding attention. Simply available when it matters.

Together, these five ideas turn AI from a distant service into something closer, more continuous, and more human in rhythm.

Technology Should Feel Interesting Again

Meydo is being created for young people who do not see technology as a list of specifications alone.

They are students capturing ideas between classes. Creators who need to save a thought before it disappears.

Travelers trying to understand a new place. AI explorers who want to experience a new way of interacting with software. Small-screen enthusiasts and digital minimalists looking for a lighter relationship with their devices.

People who want their technology to express personality rather than disappear into a row of identical black rectangles.

For them, a device can be practical and emotional at the same time.

Meydo can change through color, cases, lanyards, AI characters, voices, and modes. It can be carried, displayed, dressed, and made personal. Its square silhouette is not only a design signature; it makes room for a different product behavior, one that can move naturally between a phone, a desktop companion, a travel helper, and a playful object.

The goal is not to win a competition for the largest display or the longest specification sheet. It is to create continuity: one AI identity, one familiar relationship, and one small device that stays useful across different situations.

Not a Smaller Version of the Past

Traditional smartphones offer enormous app ecosystems and powerful screens, but they also bring a growing amount of information and interruption. AI pins and recorders can be light and convenient, but often depend on another phone or lack a screen when information needs to be checked. Smart speakers and desktop companions can feel present, but they stay behind when you leave the room.

Meydo brings these qualities together in a different balance.

It keeps a real screen without making the screen the center of every interaction. It aims for independent connectivity without becoming another large device competing for attention. It offers companionship without pretending to replace human connection. It supports apps and tools, but puts the user's intention before the app icon.

Meydo is not about making the old smartphone smaller. It is about bringing AI companionship closer.

A More Playful, Creative, and Caring Future

Our vision for AI is not limited to productivity.

We want AI to make everyday life more interesting. To help a half-formed idea become something real. To make exploration feel easier. To offer useful context without overwhelming the moment. To create a relationship that can grow over time without taking control away from the person who owns it.

That means the experience should be fun enough to return to, playful enough to make your own, creative enough to help you make things, warm enough to feel natural, and lasting enough to become familiar.

Meydo C1 is our first step toward that vision: an AI pocket phone that can stay with you, understand the world beside you, and help turn small intentions into action.

Not another screen asking for more of your attention.

A little square that gives some of it back.

A little square. A big companion.

With an AI companion, life gets cooler.
