Meydo AI - A pocket AI phone powered by DroiClaw to get things done

Hi Product Hunt, I’m part of the team behind Meydo. We started with a simple observation: most AI features on phones can answer questions, but they rarely reduce the number of steps needed to get everyday things done. We wanted to explore a different approach. Instead of opening an app, finding the right menu, and tapping through several screens, what if you could simply describe what you need? That idea became Meydo C1, a pocket-sized AI companion designed around voice-first interaction. Its small screen provides context, confirmations, and results without turning the device into another attention-heavy smartphone. Our original idea was much broader: build an AI device that could do almost anything. As we worked on it, we realized that reliability, clarity, and user control mattered more than the number of features we could demonstrate. So we narrowed our focus to frequent, practical tasks: - Capturing thoughts before they disappear - Creating reminders - Checking schedules - Looking up information - Helping with simple daily planning We also learned that fewer taps do not automatically create a better experience. Users still need to understand what the AI is doing, confirm important actions, and correct mistakes quickly. That principle now shapes how we think about every interaction. We don’t believe a dedicated AI device will replace the smartphone for everyone. Meydo is our attempt to discover whether a smaller, more focused companion can make everyday interactions faster and less distracting.
