The following modes are supported: AMRAP, EMOM, Rounds for time, Tabata. Workouts are logged to your Apple Health/Activities. If you have AirPods a live announcer will tell you important information about your workout.
@adamjsorensen Yup. It saves the heart rates, calories, time etc into a cross training session. And the rounds are recorded as laps. I just added a screenshot from the iPhone app for an example.
Ok soo......I've been using the app for a couple weeks. Love it overall. One major gripe with it. It seems to be overriding my default "music" app even if I'm not in the middle of a workout. for example, right now I'm sitting at work, and I look down at my apple watch to check the time, and the MetCount app is open, even though I have no workout running, and I deleted it from my "recently opened apps" dock. Is this a bug? ?makers
@adamjsorensen Thanks for the feedback. I think I know what the problem is. For now a quick fix would be the following:
1) Start a workout with the AirPods option set to off
2) End the workout
Does that fix the problem you experience? When the workout session ends, the app loses control over the music volume and it blasts your eardrums. I learned this the hard way. So I just never end the session if AirPods are on.
I changed the "Home" button at the end of a workout to also end the session. I also added an "End Session" button to the context menu (accessed by long press). I submitted the update for review to the App Store a few minutes ago, hopefully it will be available sometime tomorrow
