Just wanted to highlight a tool that's been getting the most use after the weight calculator:

Pipe & Bar Cut List Optimizer — you enter your required lengths, it figures out the most efficient way to cut from standard 6m or 12m stock bars. Uses First Fit Decreasing bin packing logic to minimise offcuts.

Real example: You need: 2400mm × 3, 1800mm × 2, 1200mm × 4, 900mm × 2 Stock length: 6000mm, kerf: 3mm Result: 3 bars instead of 4 — 25% material saving
