Does your end-of-day update do justice to everything you worked on?
by•
A useful end-of-day update should capture more than the final output. Hours of investigation can result in a small fix, while failed approaches, debugging sessions, test results, and key decisions remain invisible in the ticket, commit, or pull request.
The update should give teammates enough evidence to verify progress, understand its impact, and continue from the right place. That means highlighting meaningful changes, preserving relevant context, and letting the author review and edit everything before sharing.
