Hi Product Hunt — I’m the maker of Melogen AI. Before I moved into software, I was a professional musician and sound designer. Even now, I’m still obsessed with removing the everyday friction musicians face — especially the moments where creativity gets stuck behind “manual work”. One pain I kept running into: splitting a full score into parts, transposing for different instruments, and generally turning paper (or messy PDFs/scans) into something actually editable. In practice, that usually meant re-entering notes by hand… again and again. I couldn’t find a tool that felt both reliable and effortless, so I started building my own. That became Melogen AI — a web-based toolkit (no installs) that helps you: Sheet/PDF → MIDI & MusicXML Audio → MIDI Music form analysis (Intro/Verse/Chorus/Bridge…) And for builders: use these tools inside Claude Desktop / Cursor via MCP To be transparent: we’re still early. Some scores won’t convert perfectly yet, and certain tricky cases may fail. But we’re iterating fast, and this launch is a big step toward supporting more complex, real-world notation.
