Building a healthcare discovery platform for India's tier-2/3 cities — would love feedback

Hey — I'm Akash, building MedicSutra (medicsutra.com), a platform to help people find verified doctors and clinics in Indian cities that Google and the big directories mostly ignore.

The problem I kept running into: healthcare discovery works reasonably well in Delhi or Mumbai, but in cities like Lucknow, where I'm based, patients are still finding doctors through word of mouth or paid ads with zero way to verify who's actually good. So we started building — verified clinic and doctor listings, real patient reviews, direct contact with providers. We're a few weeks in with 250+ clinics live in Lucknow (starting with dental and dermatology) and adding more daily.

We are planning to build appointment booking engine, so patients can go from search to a scheduled visit in one place, and clinics get a simple way to manage bookings instead of running everything on paper registers and WhatsApp. That's really the direction we're heading — from a directory toward something closer to the operating system a small clinic runs its day on. Queue/token management and automated follow-ups are next, and eventually we want to bring in pharmacies, diagnostic labs, and clinic chains too.

One thing I'm genuinely unsure about and would love this community's take on: for a healthcare platform like this, what actually builds trust for you as a patient — more detailed reviews, verified credentials, response time from the clinic, something else? Trying to get the priority order right before we scale beyond Lucknow.
