mcptoon v0.7.2 is out, and this launch needed an update more than the changelog.
What actually changed:
- One-line installers: curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.co... | bash (macOS/Linux) and irm https://raw.githubusercontent.co... | iex (Windows). Handles pipx, PATH, and PEP 668 automatically, then drops you into mcptoon quickstart.
Sync one config to every agent (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, Windsurf, VS Code), run all servers as one stdio gateway. 255 tools: 71,929 to 8,282 tokens with --slim (tiktoken-measured, -88.5%). Zero deps, Apache-2.0.
