Clips are the easiest way to capture video and screen recordings of your participant’s usability tasks without running live, moderated research sessions. 💪 How do I use Clips? It’s simple—in your maze, you can add Clips to Mission Blocks to allow individual user sessions to record. Clips will create small, digestible chunks of audio and visual context to help you get the full picture of how testers navigate through your product. Deepening insights that help you make fast, educated decisions—at scale. We hope Clips will bring more human context to usability testing and fill the gaps of our understanding for users. All without losing speed and the ability to scale. With this in mind, we believe the valuable interactions happening during a remote test shouldn’t be lost simply because a user session happens async. So we posed the question, is there a way to bring rich, human context that’s digestible to unmoderated research? That’s why we’ve created a new way to capture the insights where understanding is essential. Our amazing team has pooled together to bring you Clips; small, digestible clips of audio and visual context of user sessions that will help you get the full picture of how testers navigate through your product. Deepening insights that help you make fast, educated decisions—at scale.

As a customer, I had hoped for this feature before coming to Maze, and I know many others felt the same way. Now, it's a great honor to have contributed to this project and see our users delighted with this release. What a great achievement! What could be better than sharing with you one of many requests from our users? "Unmoderated testing helps us uncover that a problem exists, but not the underlying reason, so if we can get qualitative data via audio recording walkthroughs, while also getting the quantitative, that would be *chef's kiss*"
