Great product, great team! I had the pleasure of watching Anik and the MaxRewards team iterate on v1.0 of MaxRewards last year in Techstars. v2.0 is amazing. Get the app!

👋 Hi hunters! Credit cards have a lot of lucrative benefits, like rewards, deals, insurance, etc. However, it's incredibly difficult and tedious to maximize those benefits. So most people miss out on hundreds to thousands of dollars worth of rewards and savings every year. Our solution was to build an app that makes maximizing credit card rewards and savings easy and accessible to the average cardholder. Once you add your cards (either by connecting a credit card account or directly adding cards), you just have to open the app right before making a purchase. We'll tell you the best card to use for merchants near you. If you're making an app or online purchase, you can reference the best card to use by category. We automatically activate bonus categories and deals when syncing your accounts, so you can be sure you're maximizing your rewards and savings on every purchase. Managing your cards effectively is an important component of maximizing benefits. There's no point in earning 5% cash back if you're paying 20% interest. So we offer numerous features to organize your credit card information in one place so you're always on top of your finances: • Net worth in rewards • Aggregate current balance, credit limit and credit utilization • Upcoming bills and autopay status • Sign up bonus tracker • Overview of card rewards, fees and interest rates • Spend and reward summaries by time and category • Unified list of transactions What makes us special is our proprietary integrations with issuers that enable us to pull more data per account than any other company including Plaid, Intuit and Yodlee. Some MaxRewards exclusive information include: • Reward activity for every card • Personalized offers and deals from eligible cards • Credit scores from every issuer Of course, security and privacy are our highest priorities: • We use bank-level encryption to sync your information • We never access nor ask for credit card or social security numbers • We won't sell your information MaxRewards is a free app. Deals is our premium feature, and we charge users just 20% of savings. There's no cost to activate Deals, and users are only charged if they save. We'd love to get your feedback on all of MaxRewards, so we're giving hunters a month of fee-free Deals. Just use the referral code phunt and make sure you connect an account from American Express, Bank of America, Chase or SunTrust that has deals.

MaxRewards helps people who have no idea the power of their cards understand how they can benefit them. I'm very excited to check out the new version.

MaxRewards makes it stupid simple to get more from your credit cards. You are missing out if you don't get the app.
Cathleen Madrona
App looks cool. So what's the difference between MaxRewards and Mint?
Anik Khan
@cathleenmadrona Thanks Cathleen! Mint is a more general personal finance manager, whereas MaxRewards is completely focused on credit cards. Our design is optimized to present credit cards. We aggregate more information than Mint, like reward activity and offers. We also have unique automation capabilities, like automatically activating bonus categories. And we show you how to use your existing cards more effectively.

Good list of issuers to start. When will you be adding Wells Fargo?
Anik Khan
@landonhowell We plan on adding Wells Fargo next month!

Love the design! v2.0 is awesome!

This v2 is so cool! :) could you share more how this is different than other available alternatives? E.g. if I am already using mint and awardwallet.com/points.com, why should I consider switching to MaxReward?
Anik Khan
@h_on_product_hunt Thanks Hieu! Awardwallet is very limited in functionality, since it mostly shows you reward balances. Mint shows you more information, but it actually doesn't show you any reward information. For credit cards, MaxRewards combines the functionality of Mint and Awardwallet (and a few other tools).
