ManimVTK - Scientific visualization meets mathematical animation

Until now, Manim scenes ended as videos. ManimVTK transforms them into data you can explore like a scientific model. It's a superset of Manim that adds VTK export, enabling interactive geometry, parameter controls, and (soon) animations you can pause and touch. Nothing like this exists in the educational or math-animation space.

I built ManimVTK because I kept running into the same limitation: Manim animations are beautiful, but they stop at video. The underlying geometry is rich, but it becomes frozen the moment the render finishes. I wanted a way to explore that data interactively—rotate it, inspect it, eventually adjust parameters live.

That led me to extend Manim with a VTK export pipeline. What started as a small experiment quickly became a new foundation for how Mathify handles 3D scenes. And because ManimVTK is now fully integrated into Mathify, AI-generated animations can produce interactive VTK visualizations automatically—no extra workflow, no manual setup.

This launch is the first step toward a bigger goal: making mathematical and scientific structures explorable, not just watchable.
