@miguel_039 Ahh, a fellow TV Time user, hello! 👋 While TV Time does a great job when it comes to the progress tracking aspect, I always felt it fell short on the social aspect. Marathon flips this around: what if the social aspect came first? While you can still track your series, it's more about experiencing them along with your friends, having weekly discussions as episodes drop, and ultimately leaving your mark on the series with a review that you can wear proudly on your profile. If I were to compare it to an app, I'd say it aligns closer to Letterboxd but for television.
Thank you for checking out Marathon!! I hope you use and enjoy it 🥳
The day has finally come: Marathon is now released! Marathon is a social TV tracker, which is exactly as it sounds. Marathon is your new social network to connect with friends over the thing that connects us all: the latest and greatest television.
Marathon has been a love project of mine for over 6 (!) years now. It started off as a product called Watchr I developed in college, which encouraged folks to watch television together. It took a backseat as I built up my development knowledge and after learning iOS this year I decided to finally get back to the idea that ignited my passion for this field.
I'm so excited to finally release Marathon into the world, and I hope to see you all on there! My question for y'all is: what was your first project that made you fall in love with product?

Just downloaded the app to check it out! I'm a big fan of @letterboxd so hopefully this can be something similar for me to keep track of.
One thing I've already noticed is that is somewhat difficult to add episodes of things that you've watched. I know that you can hit "+Add Series" and then you can select what episodes you have watched, but I think it might be more useful to maybe swipe on the episode or have a checkbox always on display.
Hey @paraicmclean! We just released v1.0.3 of the app, which resolves the issue you noted. You can now mark episodes or seasons as watched, and we'll automagically add the series for you. Check it out 😌

Hey! love it. I am using the TV Forecast app, which I really like, but I also like this one, so you make it hard to decide where to continue. I am exploring more and filling in my profile, and I will test it out more.
I wish for the following + some feedback:
- I am not sure what the flashlight icon means, saying "no recent activity"
- On the "Up Next" page, some shows covers and episodes are not showing, like for S.W.A.T. show, episode 1 season 1.
- Maybe the "Up Next" page should be split to "up next" for upcoming episodes of shows you marked as to watch and in progress/coming soon seasons, and another one for current shows I already started. Right now, I need to go to my profile > "watched" to see my progress and navigate easily between what I watch.
- Under my profile > watched - it will be great to add sorting, so I can choose to sort it in a way that the first show on the left would be the one with the least episodes left. Right now, I see the show with 33% completion first, and it will be better IMO to see the show with 97% completion first.
- We probably need to add that sorting I mentioned above in the current "Up Next" page because it's mixing a lot of the unstarted shows with the ones in progress.
- in the description of a show would be great if you can add if it's a returning series, ended, or canceled.
- seeing bubbles of the actors inside the app and then seeing what shows/movies they played so I can navigate it inside the app will be awesome. I like it inside TV Forecast and I would want to stay in the app instead of navigating to IMDB.
- being able to mark shows as "discontinued watching" so it appears in a different list still under my profile, while keeping the episodes I watched.
- The show "Kingdom" on Netflix (two seasons starting 2019) is missing.
Thank you for an amazing and stable app!
@r0dex hey Asaf! Thank you so much for checking out the app and all this feedback!! I'll add these to our backlog 🥳

Love it so far regardless. Few more things I came up with:
- Instead of only “add series” button which might be confusing on some aspect, I think that adding another button “add to watchlist” will solve all that.
- Ability to edit your review in case there are typos, etc.
