I'd like to introduce to you a project I've been working on for the past two months during my spare time – MakerDeals.eu – a search tool designed to simplify the searching and comparing 3D printing filaments on Amazon marketplaces. Why is it Interesting? MakerDeals.eu serves as a simple-to-use search tool, aimed at simplifying the task of choosing the right filament to buy. By getting information directly from Amazon, the website offers a user-friendly interface where filaments can be filtered and sorted based on various parameters. My goal is to make filament selection more accessible and convenient compared to the standard Amazon web UI. A Work in Progress Please bear in mind that MakerDeals.eu is currently in its alpha version and remains under active development. While the foundation is done, there's still plenty of room for improvement and refinement. Your constructive criticism and ideas are not only welcomed but highly encouraged. @mashy Thank you so much for your kind words and support! The inspiration for MakerDeals actually came from my own 3D printing experience. I'm a proud owner of two Prusa printers, which require a constant supply of PLA filament. Looking for good quality and affordable filament on Amazon was a time-consuming process, and I was never sure if I had found the best material at the best price. So, I started this project for my own needs and later decided to make it public. As for future enhancements, I would like to add more AI-generated analysis of filament quality and pricing (as some sellers manipulate prices, making their discounts appear larger than they really are). I have more ideas on my to-do list, but this is the biggest and most useful feature. Once again, thank you for your support and encouragement.
