With the launch of Moonlock Engine - a lightweight, powerful malware detection tech for macOS - we're stepping up our game. And from now on millions of CleanMyMac X users will be the first to experience it. On top of the usual scanning options and real-time threat monitoring, with Moonlock Engine, you're in control of balancing your needs. It can be super fast if you want it to be or it could be extremely thorough if you’re feeling extra suspicious that day. Our tests show that Moonlock Engine is twice as fast on M1 and about 50% faster on the older Intel platforms. The engine is going to look for malware in whole new places, like email attachments, browser extensions, or archives. It will also scan external drives upon connection, to provide you all encompassing protection. Give it a go and share your feedback!
