Hello Vim and VS Code users! I want to share with you the backstory of LunarKeymap
I started my journey on using the vscodevim extension 2 years ago. However, I find that it lacks the ability to control workspaces and actions through keyboard shortcuts π. The only time Vim motion works is when editing a code.
I left vscode and vscodevim and return to Neovim. Thatβs when I found out LunarVim π₯°, a neovim distribution and a keyboard-driven IDE. After a month using it, I love that Vim motion works seamlessly across every component. So, Iβve decided to bring that experience to VS Code and made π LunarKeymap.
I can now use Vim motions to navigate across windows and workspace, split windows, create breakpoints and debug, all without lifting my hands away from the keyboard ποΈπποΈ.
Thank you for reading this, give LunarKeymap a try, and have a good day!
