Launched it last weekend and the first update is out
Lunar Paper 0.8.1: physics animations, particle effects and clearer project updates
Hi everyone! Lunar Paper 0.8.1 is now available, with new animation tools in Pixel Art Studio and improvements to task sharing and reporting.
Bring pixel art to life
Physics animations: combine fixed layers, moving artwork and animated obstacles. Preview collisions using painted outlines, adjust gravity and motion, then bake the results into editable animation frames.
Particle effects: add sparks, rain, snow, smoke, fire or confetti. Control emission, lifetime, wind and the frame range before baking.
Editor improvements: move painted artwork with the new Hand tool, and resize panels and the timeline to give yourself more room.
Keep project
Task summaries and change-logs: generate updates from selected tasks, a board, milestone, sprint or bucket. Preview and edit the Markdown, then copy or download it.
Direct task links: open tasks in a dedicated view, share links and navigate between parent tasks and sub-tasks.

Lunar Paper is a self-hosted platform with 19 apps, currently in public open beta and free for up to three people.
I’d love feedback on these additions. What would you animate first—or what would make sharing your project updates easier?
