Lunar Paper 0.8.1: physics animations, particle effects and clearer project updates
Hi everyone! Lunar Paper 0.8.1 is now available, with new animation tools in Pixel Art Studio and improvements to task sharing and reporting.
Bring pixel art to life
Physics animations: combine fixed layers, moving artwork and animated obstacles. Preview collisions using painted outlines, adjust gravity and motion, then bake the results into editable animation frames.
Particle effects: add sparks, rain, snow, smoke, fire or confetti. Control emission, lifetime, wind and the frame range before baking.
Editor improvements: move painted artwork with the new Hand tool, and resize panels and the timeline to give yourself more room.
Lunar Paper brings 19 apps for planning, content, data, automation and creative work into one self-hosted platform.
Most apps support live collaboration, with shared accounts and permissions. Group related work into Services so apps can work together—from forms and workflows to dashboards, documents and design tools.
Run it with Docker Compose, connect your own AI providers or leave AI off entirely. The full platform is free for up to three people, with no time limit. Now in public open beta.
