It's an amazing piece of software for photographers. But does not work in Linux. That's a big issue for me, would not mind paying it at all.

I use luminar 3 for all my photo editing and love it! Before that I was using the older luminar with an older DAM.
Pros:Love this product And use it all the time.
Cons:Still needs a few added features to compete with current products on the market
I purchased this before the release with the hope of finding a viable LR alternative. Luminar 2018 was at least stable and had some positive editing features. The Skylar forums are filled with frustrated Mac and Windows users from date of release onward. My advice, wait and see how a dot release (or two!) come out before spending money and time.
Pros:Great potential.
Cons:This is not a production release in my opinion. A plethora of usability and resource issues. Feels much more like a beta than a 3.X release.
