Hi Product Hunt, I built LowEnd Forge because bass transcription is usually where automatic music tools get too optimistic. Low notes smear, drums hide attacks, ghost notes blur into the groove, and the same line can be fingered several ways. LowEnd Forge is a local desktop workbench for creating an editable bass-tab draft from audio, then correcting the musical decisions against the waveform. It is bass-first: four-string tab, waveform review, chord context, follow playback, quantization, and export. I am intentionally not pitching it as magic perfect transcription. The value is reducing blank-page work and keeping correction close to the source recording. There is a free preview workflow and a $19 lifetime professional license for advanced editing and export. I would love feedback from bass players, teachers, and transcribers.
