LoginRecall - Never guess your login method again

by
LoginRecall is a lightweight browser extension that remembers how you logged into websites and reminds you when you return. Modern sites offer multiple login options like Google, GitHub, Apple, and email, but it's easy to forget which one you used. LoginRecall detects your login method and stores it locally. Key features: • Automatic provider detection • Works across websites • 100% local storage • No passwords or tracking

Hey everyone 👋 I built LoginRecall because I kept running into the same annoying problem: Every time I returned to a site, I had no idea how I originally logged in — Google? GitHub? Email? I’d end up trying multiple options until one worked (and sometimes even locked myself out 😅). So I built a small extension that automatically remembers the login method and reminds you when you come back. A few things I focused on: • Everything runs locally (no servers, no tracking) • No passwords or sensitive data ever stored • Works automatically without setup It’s a simple idea, but it’s been surprisingly useful for me. Would love your feedback: • Is this a real problem for you? • Anything you’d want added or changed? Thanks for checking it out 🙌
